Fatwa and I hope you had a lovely Christmas, with a nice feast to get you ready for all of those New Year’s resolutions you are probably planning to make…

Probably on your roof last night — hope you left out a cookie or two

Christmas Greetings!
I hope everyone had a good one.
This is the first time I’ve turned on the computer in two days. I just didn’t want to read any of it after the Senate vote.
Yes, we got our first “measurable” Christmas Eve snowfall. BW drove over to teh crackhouse mansion to spend the night & all of today. I stayed home & spent most of it under the covers or working a jigsaw puzzle.
Tomorrow we are going to the Japanese place with my son & gf to eat dishwater-soup & watch the flying knife show.
The snow was about 3inches, with drifts up to a pug belly. Ha! Harley stepped off the patio into a drift & did not like it! Pixie made “snow angels” all over the yard by twirling to squat. She gets distracted (or dizzy) & forgets what she’s doing & has to go make another one. Harley justs waits her out & then goes where she finally stops.
It was a real Christmas Present to seee SBH! & Backhoe again. The “Cookie’s Last Stand” story was kinda goodnews-badnews. Sorry he lost his cat…but on the other hand…
So I’m happy to still be here & looking forward to another year. My prayer is that it gets better for all of us. And for America.

Rabbit! Brenda! Where’s TeX? Beautiful music, Paddy! Hello, Gentle Mac!
We got a Christmas card from Rabbit and BW this year. David was so tickled he said he’s gonna send cards next year so other people can get tickled in turn. You’ve started something Rabbit.
I hope everyone had as lovely a Christmas as we did/are. Cheers!!
It’s cold and windy but no snow.
We look forward to having the clouds roll in tomorrow afternoon.

*whisper aside*
I started off by telling them …
“I have to tell you Miss Em’s dead cat story. They usually don’t start off the holidays by killing the cat but…”
they’re hooked and pestering for the rest of the story.
